Modern style front addition & rear renovation built in 2015 (Guelph)

This full-home renovation in Guelph’s old university area was all about bringing a dated space into the modern era. The homeowners envisioned clean lines, open spaces, and a strong architectural identity inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s Prairie style. To achieve this, we designed a striking sunken study and foyer featuring expansive glass and horizontal lines that anchor the home's bold new aesthetic. The interior was completely reimagined, with a sleek open-concept kitchen, reconfigured bedrooms, and modernized bathrooms. Built-in storage and carefully selected fixtures enhance both form and function throughout the space. Natural light and thoughtful sightlines were key to creating a seamless indoor experience. The result is a contemporary yet timeless home that stands out while still respecting the character of its historic neighborhood.
